National Police Cadet Corps
Our unit believes in training our cadets to be morally upright citizens who possess integrity and resilience to persevere in face of challenges. We aim to develop our cadets to demonstrate traits of leadership and be entrepreneurial and global in their outlook so that they can adapt to changing contexts.
Through various Values in Action (VIA) Projects, we inculcate in our cadets a spirit of caring for the community and environment by organizing outings for the elderly or participating in beach cleaning activities.
Enrichment courses are also organized on a yearly basis for our cadets to pick up a new skill and/or have a greater appreciation for the arts and culture around the world. Some courses organized by the unit are: First Aid certification course, kayaking one star course, paper marbling workshop, Chinese seal carving and paper cutting workshop etc.
Our Vision & Mission
We develop our members to be active citizens and community leaders, by working in partnership with Singapore Police Force to fight crime and keep Singapore safe. To be in line with our mission and meeting our objectives, we train our cadets to become disciplined, responsible, resilient and resourceful leaders.

Student Leadership Development and Training
Our unit adopts the 6A’s of NPCC Training Framework.
At Secondary 1, cadets are exposed to the various aspects of life as a NPCC cadet. They will attend the Secondary 1 Swearing-in Ceremony where all Secondary 1 cadets from the eight schools in Area 10 will meet and recite the NPCC pledge for the first time. During the course of the year, they will attend courses such as the Road Safety Course conducted at the Road Safety Park and also Police Knowledge 1 where they will learn about law enforcement in Singapore. They will also attend our annual 3D2N Unit Camp in school to bond with their squad mates and also pick up skills like field cooking and tent pitching.
At Secondary 2, cadets will be focused on acquiring skills and knowledge on ceremonial drills and camp craft. Training will intensify as the cadets acquire their drill and camp craft proficiency badges . Cadets will also attend courses such as Civil Defence course and Anti-Narcotics course (SANA) where they will pick up important skills like first aid and also to learn about drug abuse. Cadets will have their first experience firing a live .22 revolver at the Home Team Academy gun range. Another highlight of the year would be the 3D2N Adventure Training Camp at Pulau Ubin.
At Secondary 3, cadets will be stepping up as cadet leaders of the unit where they will plan for and take charge of the training of Sec 1 and 2 cadets. The cadet leaders will undergo a Leadership Mentoring Skills Course (LMSC) to learn event management skills and public speaking skills to gain the necessary competencies to run the unit.
At Secondary 4, potential cadet leaders will be selected to continue their NPCC training as Cadet Inspectors (CIs) who will return to serve the unit after they graduate from secondary school. Also, cadets who show exceptional skills and leadership qualities will be awarded the Best Unit Cadet award and may also receive the pinnacle badge of NPCC, the SPF-NPCC badge . These cadets may also be promoted to Station Inspector (SI), the highest attainable rank for a cadet.
