1. E-Registration
Please complete the online registration form via https://go.gov.sg/dssregistrationfor2025 by Friday, 20 December 2024.
2. Appeals for Transfer
a. For non-medical appeals to join Damai Secondary School, please complete this https://go.gov.sg/dssappealformfor2025 by Friday, 20 December 2024, 5.00 pm. |
b. For request for transfer to another school due to medical reasons (serious medical condition or severe physical impairments), you could submit your appeal together with supporting documents |
i. at the General Office on Friday, 20 December 2024 between 8.30am and 12.00 pm, or ii. Write to Mr Ng Cheng Keong, Vice-Principal, at email: Ng_Cheng_Keong@schools.gov.sg by 9.00am, 20 December 2024. |
3. Eligibility to offer subject(s) at a higher level
Students who are eligible will offer subject(s) at a higher level, ought to purchase the relevant textbooks and materials for the subject(s) offered at the higher level.
4. MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) and School-based Financial Assistance
a. For application for financial assistance, you may apply for MOE FAS through
(i) eFAS - Go to https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas to submit the application; or
(ii) Hardcopy – please click here to download the application form and submit the duly completed form together with the supporting documents as listed under Clause 11 (Pages 5 and 6 of the application form) to the school General Office.
To facilitate the prompt processing, please submit your application by Friday, 27 December 2024.
b. If your family and child/children are existing beneficiaries of MSF ComCare, you do not need to apply as your child/children will be auto-granted MOE FAS.
c. The school will offer school-based financial assistance to eligible students who do not meet the criteria for MOE FAS. There is no need to submit a separate application.
5. GIRO payment for School and Miscellaneous fees
You are strongly encouraged to make payments for school fees through electronic payments. You may apply for GIRO payment for your child's school and miscellaneous fees here.
6. Purchase of Textbooks, School Uniform and PE Attire
You are strongly encouraged to purchase textbooks and school uniforms online with either home delivery or self-collection option.

Note: FAS students ought to produce the letter of approval issued by the school when collecting textbooks and school uniforms.
7. Student Smart Card (SSC) for concessionary travel
Students entering Secondary One in January 2025 will be issued with a new School Smart Card (SSC). While waiting the new SSC, students can use their Primary level SSC for concessionary travel until end April 2025. Students can purchase the Bus Concession Pass (BCP) for Secondary School students using their Primary Level SSC.
8. Safety Instructions for drivers and pedestrians
For the safety of everyone, please observe the vehicular and pedestrian traffic instructions outside and inside the school. Click here for the traffic instructions.
9. Instructions and Programme for First Day of School (2 January 2025) for S1 students
a. Students are to report to the school hall by 7.20am in school uniform. Please refer to student handbook on school attire and grooming here.
b. Students need not bring textbooks but writing materials (pen and a small note pad), and a water bottle.
c. Students will take part in an orientation programme designed to help them settle in, get to know their Form Teachers and make friends. Students will need to purchase food from the school canteen during recess and lunch break, unless they pack food from home. They will be dismissed at 1.30pm.
10. Day Camp for S1 Students on 3 January 2025.
Students need not report to school in the morning. They will report to school by 2.00pm in their PE attire as they will be attending a day camp from 2.00pm – 6.30pm. The camp activities will be conducted by school personnel within the school campus. Students are to bring along their water bottle. Dinner will be provided. Students will join their parents for the meet-the-parents session at 6.30pm.
11. Meet-The-Parents Session on 3 January 2025
The Form Teachers will conduct a sharing and dialogue session with parents of their respective Form Classes on Friday, 3 January 2025, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Parents are encouraged to attend the session together with their child to learn more the school and touch base with the respective Form Teachers.
12. Time-Table Structure 2025
The school time-table runs on a 10-day cycle (Odd Week and Even Week). Home-Based Learning (HBL) Days are held on Fridays, Odd Week. Click herefor the time-table structure 2025.
